Constructional toys help to develop manipulative skills and provide opportunities for children to be creative working through their ideas and thoughts...it’s a road, no a track, a long sausage? The children help to prepare snacks, they discuss with the adult about using tools safely. Children are often more keen to try new foods if they can help with the preparation of it...is that a finger I can see, oh no it is apple, phew!

Physical Development
Bike play we are very lucky to have lot’s of indoor and outdoor space. The children love this type of play, it encourages them to manage their body movements and be aware of the space around them.

Balancing beams encourage concentration and balance being able to slow down and concentrate on body movements. The children are collecting bean bags along the way...ready steady jump!

Developing new skills such as stenciling...steady does it!
